Configure Outlook for Ceyora Email Hosting

Microsoft Outlook is widely used by Sri Lankan businesses. Connect your Ceyora email account using IMAP for sync across devices.

Outlook setup steps

1. Open Outlook → File → Add Account
2. Enter your email address and click Advanced options → let me set up manually
3. Choose IMAP
4. Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.lk, port 993, SSL
5. Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.lk, port 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
6. Enter your full email and password
7. Click Connect and send a test email

Alternative — cPanel auto-config

In cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices, download the Outlook configuration file (.mobileconfig or autodiscover settings if available).

Common Outlook errors

• Certificate warning: Ensure you use mail.yourdomain.lk matching your SSL certificate
• Cannot send: Enable "My outgoing server requires authentication"
