Password best practices
- Use unique passwords for client portal, cPanel, FTP, and email
- Minimum 12 characters with letters, numbers, and symbols
- Use a password manager to generate and store credentials
- Change passwords immediately if you suspect a breach
Protect cPanel and client portal access
- Never share login credentials with untrusted parties
- Log out after using shared computers
- Bookmark official URLs: ceyora.lk and cportal.ceyora.lk
- Be wary of phishing emails claiming to be from Ceyora — we never ask for passwords by email
Monitor your account
Review active FTP accounts, email forwarders, and file changes periodically. Unexpected new admin users on WordPress or unknown files in public_html may indicate compromise.
