How to Add DNS A, CNAME, and TXT Records

DNS records control where your domain points on the internet. On Ceyora hosting, manage records in cPanel when your domain uses our nameservers.

Open Zone Editor

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to Domains → Zone Editor
3. Select your domain
4. Click Manage or Add Record

Common record types

• A record — Points a hostname to an IP address (e.g. website server)
• CNAME — Alias pointing one name to another (e.g. www to root domain)
• TXT — Verification for Google, Microsoft, SPF, DKIM, and other services
• MX — Mail server routing (see our MX records guide)

Before making changes

Note existing records before editing. Incorrect DNS can take your website or email offline. When in doubt, open a support ticket before deleting records you do not recognise.
