Transferring your domain to Ceyora lets you manage domain registration and web hosting in Sri Lanka from a single client portal — simplifying renewals and support.
Before you start
- Domain must be at least 60 days old (ICANN rule for most TLDs)
- Domain must not be expired or within 15 days of expiry
- Unlock the domain at your current registrar
- Request the EPP/Auth code from your current registrar
- Ensure WHOIS email is accessible for transfer confirmation
Start the transfer
- Log in to the Ceyora client portal
- Go to domain transfer section
- Enter your domain name and auth code
- Complete payment for the transfer (includes renewal period)
- Approve the transfer email sent to the registrant contact
Transfer timeline
Most transfers complete within 5–7 days. Your website stays online if DNS is unchanged during the transfer.
